What is Mach2

Mach2 is a software system designed to control up to 6 axes of stepper or step/dir servos from the parallel or USB port of a PC running Windows XP or Windows 2000. 

CNC under Windows platforms has long been thought to be difficult if not impossible due to unpredictable interrupt and timing systems. Mach2 is designed to avail itself of interrupt zero processing which allows it to bypass Microsoft’s limitations in this respect.
